Supplier Quality Vice Manager

REPORTING TO:
Direct report: Quality Director
LOCATION: JinShan

No. of people managed: 4

Responsibilities:

1. Supervision of team of supplier quality engineers in Jinshan Plant

2. Leadership of supplier quality strategy and supplier quality goals at Plant

3. High level interface with all on supplier quality communication and improvement strategy.

4. Organizational development with team of supplier quality engineers

5. Development of annual Supplier Audit Plan

6. Implementaton of Supplier Corrective Actions, specific Action Plans and 8D follow-up

7. Measurement of key supplier performance metrics across quality defects, delivery and cost

8. Monthly performance reviews with suppliers

9. Establish work plans to effectively manage resources at Plant

10.Support New Product Development and Change Management Quality Audits and PPAP approvals as Applicable

11.Maintian all record retention requirements and integrity.

12.Driving lessons learned across the supplier quality organization

1. Supplier PPM

2. Supplier 8D closure

3. SUpplier quality incident

4. Plant incoming batch yield

Requirement and skills, identify skills required for the job,

1. BS in Engineering

2. More than 5 years experience in process/manufacturing improvement

3. 5+ years experience in managing progressive supplier quality programs

4. 3+ years experience on supervisor role

5. Experiece with quality tools including but not limited to design for manufacturablity, GD&T, PAP, APQP, FMEA, control plan, and 8D

6. Established statistical modeling capabilities

7. Good collaboration and project management skills

8. Good verbal and written communication skills

9. Bachelor Degree above

10. Perfect English communication skills, or Germany.
