Manager Data Operations - Asia

Job description
The mission of the Data Solutions Group (DSG) is to be the leading global data provider of data products and services that enables discovery, purchase, and consumption of the entertainment. The Manager Data Operations is a senior member of the operations team for DSG, reporting to the Vice President Data Solutions International. This position oversees the shanghai-based DSG operations functions responsible for collecting, managing, and enhancing video (TV and movies) metadata for internal and external customers as well the acquisition, creation and management of bound and unbound video metadata and all relevant operations.

Primary Duties:
?Set-up and manage the Shanghai-based DSG team to deliver timely and accurate collection, creation, management of video metadata in accordance with established budgets.
?Manage quality and performance metrics and report on the teams’ progress against specific goals.
?Manage the relationship with external partners and suppliers of meta data and servers
?Work collaboratively with other Rovi teams (inside and outside of DSG)

Education and Experience:
Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed degree in Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent knowledge), and 5+ years of related experience with the management of meta data for TV and video.

Languages:
Chinese and English fluent
