POSITION SUMMARY

The position is to develop and launch diesel after treatment system to meet EU4 and 5 emission regulation in China. The position is to work with customer to research the optimized emission after treatment system such as DPF and SCR. Position has responsibilities for establishment and execution of APQP, FMEA, DVP&R, prototype, control plan, etc. The responsibility includes coordination of the CAE, testing, problem solving, and technical program management. The position should be familiar with production, acknowledge of industrial control and process, manage and coordinate the action in the production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Develop and launch diesel after treatment system to meet EU4 emission regulation in China. The position is to work with customer to research the optimized emission after treatment system such as DPF and SCR.

● Be responsibilities for establishment and execution of APQP, FMEA, DVP&R, prototype, control plan, etc. The responsibility includes coordination of the CAE, testing, problem solving, and technical program management.

? Manage individual new product development projects and coordinate activities with customers, within the department and cross- functionally to meet milestone dates.

? Perform system integration analysis to achieve optimal system design in terms of function and cost.

? Generate new ideas regarding engineering improvements, new applications and inventions, support and recognize patentable concepts/designs

? Manage the APQP, lessons learned, DFMEA, and theirs links to DVP&R

? Perform and lead product development in CAE, testing, instrumentation data acquisition, generating design of experiments, analyze and generate reports with recommendations and conclusions.

? Support modifications to existing tests, procedures, standards and specifications

? Prepare and present technical data for customer communications.

? Provide technical assistance for prototype and pre-production development of new designs.

? Ensure program conformance to TA and Customer Design Standards.

? Participate in simultaneous engineering activities, including NPIS teams, related to development issues for both internal and external customers.

? Complete special projects, as required.

? Support and adhere to TA EH&S policies and procedures.

? Experienced in production environment, assembly line balancing and equipment lay-out, have a basic acknowledgement of industrial control and automation products, familiar with engineering documentation preparation and handling production problems.

? Be responsible for completing and improving the operating procedure and process operation instruction, train staff to work according to production process and standard.

? Build the standardization of working cycle time, and the formulation of process beat plan, evaluate production capacity and labor efficiency.

? Be responsible for workshop 5S, monitor the critical control points, the quality control of the production process.

? Be responsible for the positioning places of the material near assembly line, coordinate and implement the distribution of materials in place.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor. Engineering plus 2 years experience, the experience in manufacturing industry is priority, preferably in automotive engineering with emphasis on diesel combustion engine. Advanced degree is preferred.

· Emission after treatment knowledge is a plus.

· Familiar with OEM program design and release system

· Working knowledge of testing, FMEA and CAE analysis.

· Must have the ability to generate engineering analysis programs, perform spreadsheet calculations, utilize program management, graphics and word processing software.

· Demonstrated DVP&R and/or exhaust reliability experience.

· Exhaust manufacturing experience and knowledge of lean enterprising principles a plus.

· Ability to travel to suppliers, plants, and customer locations to support development requirements.

· Sound written and verbal communication skills.

· Language skill such as English is a must

· Have good coordination skills, have team innovation spirit, proactive and flexible is preferred.
