This position is responsible for exhaust system hot end development to meet the OEM targeted requirements. The position is to support both domestic and internal programs.
Requirements
1 Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
2 Minimum 5 years related working experience.
3 Familiar with Emission Control system such as catalyst converter
4 Sound background in product development and durability testing
5 Good knowledge of tolerance design and compensation
6 Good communication skills both in English and Chinese
Responsibilities:
l Responsible for converter canning design and development including the mat selection and durability validation to minimize the warranty risk.
2 Using and optimizing various analytical tools to design and develop exhaust hot end and converter canning
3 Coordinate functional group such as CFD, FEA, Testing and manufacturing
4 Set up and manage test programs to validate hot-end predictions, analyze the data produced and create standardized test procedures also for new testing techniques and methods
5 Preparation, instrumentation, calibration, documentation and set up of test samples
6 Interface with internal and external customers
