POSITION TITLE: Performance Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Proposal Engineering

REPORTS TO: Performance Engineering Manager

SUMMARY:

Prepares design calculations and/or performs other routine engineering tasks using prescribed methods and procedures. Performs specific limited portions of a broader assignment under direction of a more experienced engineer. Performs assignments to develop an understanding of how to apply engineering principles and practices and to gain practical experience. The work assigned requires application of standard procedures and methods to complete a series of well-defined engineering tasks following specific detailed instructions or established standards and methods. Supervisor selects assignments, techniques and analytical methods and checks and reviews work.

Essential Job Functions:

To Do Tasks:

• Participates in Proposal or Project Technical Kick-off meeting
• Participates in determining Proposal and Project phase Performance Engineering deliverables list and schedule
• Review the RFQ documents and Prepares Technical Deviations list of Performance Engineering area during proposal stage
• Perform Performance Calculations for assigned proposal or project
• Prepares the Performance Engineering Deliverables for assigned project and proposal (including CI sheets, Performance related Concept etc) ？ ？
• Assists System Engineer in preparation of the System Engineering Concepts related to performance engineering issues
• Gets familiar to other Technical and Functional Concepts and ensures that Concepts and Specifications are in line with Performance Calculations executed in Project’s acquisition.
• Prepares Technical Risk Assessment documents
• Participates in TRA Reviews
• Support commissioning and performance test
• Other tasks as assigned by Proposal Engineering Director or Performance Engineering Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Boiler related). Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices (boiler and combustion).

Training Requirements:

Foster Wheeler engineering manual, performance computer code (Amigo) and other codes (FWChina1.0.0, FW Addin Library, etc.), Foster Wheeler design standard manual, PDMS, EDMS

Skills Requirements:

· Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate one’s work.

· Fluency in English and good English writing and oral skill. Familiarity to engineering and technical terms in both English and Chinese.

· Strong and effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities

· Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, shares expertise with others

Physical Requirements:

Travel to other offices and jobsites will be required.

至今，我们已经为世界各地提供了近2亿多千瓦的锅炉设备，销售并交付了331台煤粉炉、403台循环流化床（CFB）锅炉、410台余热锅炉（HRSG），1007台工业锅炉，50台太阳能聚热锅炉和1075台磨煤机。
