职位描述
Position: Quality Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain / Improve quality management system.
- Plan and create quality related documents to ensure related quality are reviewed and controlled.
- Improve Supplier Quality and Logistic performance based on Supplier Global Quality Manual.
- Organize and conduct Quality audits with representative teams for existing suppliers.
- Make the supplier monthly report and monitor the supplier performance to meet the company supplier performance target.
- Maintain the qualified supplier list; define the supplier status in this list according to the supplier performance.
- Train the supplier about the company supplier policy/ statistic technology/problem solving method.
- Organize supplier to resolve quality/delivery issues by 8D, and follow up to eliminate the quality/delivery issues happen again, ensure purchasing activities run smoothly.
- Support to ensure correct concerns and defects reporting to suppliers in cooperation with Behr Quality function and enter data in the QMS.
- Support to verify and approve APQP and PPAP documents, in cooperation with master sample and drawing.
- Deal with customer claims/complaints, create complaint notification in SAP, follow 8D reports and define corrective action, etc.
- Other related works assigned by product/purchase management.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor degree in relevant subject, engineering background.
- Experience: At least 2 years related working experience on quality management or supplier quality engineer, automobile industry experiences will be a plus.
- Technical Skill: High level of analytical ability to assess and resolve complex, technical problems by 5-why, 8-D problem solving tools. Familiar with ISO/TS16949, tools of PPAP, APQP, SPC, FMEA, control plan, MSA.
Have the knowledge on GD&T and have the capability of reading drawings.
Have the knowledge on thermal system parts a plus.
- Soft Skill: Diligent and good team working spirits, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Computer: Good personal computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point etc.).
- Language: English skill is required for both written and oral.
- Others: Able to travel as required.
