Overview

Enforce compliance requirements and reviewing/drafting contracts in relation to shared services in China with the objectives of supporting all Business Functions, as well as protecting the Company's interests by identifying and mitigating legal risks within the relevant laws and regulations under the supervision of APAC Senior Counsel, Corporate.

Key Responsibilities
？Contract Review:
？Draft, review and propose modifications to contracts in relation to shared services in China (such as service contract, purchase contract, lease contract, intercompany recharge contracts, and etc.) and participate in contract negotiations as required by the supervisor;
？Collaborate with other members of the global and regional Law Department on contracts that require a team effort.
？Compliance: Assist in the preparation of compliance trainings to employees in order to educate them regarding compliance requirements. Communicate, investigate and take necessary actions to ensure that the Company’s current or proposed activities, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Conduct background screening for vendors that have interaction with government/state-owned companies.

Requirements and Qualifications

?Can draft, review and modify commercial contracts with minimal review.
?Can deliver clear and concise legal advice effectively for enquiries related to the commercial contracts.
?Graduate from an accredited law program or a law degree in China.
?Pass the Bar Exam in China.
?At least two years relevant PQE gained in a leading law firm or an international corporation.
?Fluency in reading, writing and speaking Chinese and English required.
