Key Responsibilities

1/ Input and maintain master production schedule and work order in QAD system.

2/ Provide feedback to appropriate departments on meeting customer requirements.

3/ Check availability of inventory prior to issuing orders using system inquiries and shortage reports.

4/ Communicate with CS for forecasting and finalizing internal Production Schedule and outside production schedule.

5/ Coordinate with Buyer/planners, Production and Quality for smooth delivery and material control.

6/ Generate rework-manufacturing orders based on System Reject material Reports or RMAs.

7/ Effectively manage inventory levels, including receiving in and distributing stock if needed to meet customer orders.

8/ Develop, improve, and monitor reporting processes to control planning functions , and recommendations regarding improvements for planning processes to better enable the company to be efficient, cut costs and improve delivery and turns performance.

9/ Perform other duties and assignments as required,

Role Requirements/Qualifications Education:

1/ BS or BA from accredited 4-year college, CPIM preferred.

2/ 3+ years of scheduling/planning experience.

3/ Previous experience in production/materials planning/MRP required.

4/ Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, reports and legal documents.

5/ Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

6/ Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Power point etc.

7/ Complete understanding and experience with integrated manufacturing software systems,

8/ Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

9/ QAD or similar ERP system experience preferred.
