STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Nurse shall provide professional nursing care and services to patients with the objective of achieving the highest clinical and service standards.

护士/护士长将以高标准的临床和服务为病患提供专业护理保健和服务。

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Assists the clinic coordinator to oversee preparations and set up for daily operations of the clinic, including checking inventory, equipment, etc.

协助诊所协调员为中心日常操作做好准备, 包括检查存货、设备等。

2 Female nurses shall chaperones female patients attended by male doctors.

在男性医生行医时，女护士长作为女性患者的陪护者。

3 Assists doctors during consultation and / or procedures with preparation of patients, equipment and instruments, medical records, etc.

协助医生在会诊和治疗过程中，准备病患、器材， 仪器和病历等。

4 Performs nursing assessments and procedures including taking vital signs such as temperature, venepuncture (if required), dressings, injections, urine dipstick, etc

对病人进行护理程序和步骤的评估，包括记录重要生命体征譬如体温、静脉穿刺（在医嘱下），换洗伤口、注射、尿液测试等。

5 Oversees visit management for each patient under their care. This shall include facilitating arrangements for diagnostic investigations and review as ordered by the doctor.

照顾每一位病患的就医过程，依照医嘱，安排患者进行诊断项目的检查和复诊。

6 Assesses and ensures patients requiring acute or emergency treatment are attended to promptly.

评估和确保紧急患者并给予及时的治疗。

7 Assists patients with episode discharge procedures including payment, dispensing of medication, making of appointments for follow up visit, medical certificates, etc.

协助病人完成阶段性的出院各项事务，包括结账付款、分发药物、复诊预约以及给予病假单等程序。

8 Provides patient education to assist patients and their families as necessary to understand their medical conditions, and to facilitate better self and home care.

为病患提供教育并协助患者和家人了解他们的健康状况以帮助病患之进行自身护理和家庭护理。

9 Observes policies and professional ethics relating to the delivery of nursing care including infection control measures, patient safety, and fire safety precautions.

遵守与护理保健相关的政策和职业道德， 包括传染控制、病患安全和中心的消防安全防备措施。

10 Reports incidents and feedback to the clinic coordinator.

向中心协调员报告医疗事故和病人的反馈意见。

11 Participates in the orientation and induction of new employees within the department.

对新进雇员进行培训和指导。

12 Maintains professional growth and development through the ongoing process of formal and informal education.

通过参加正式和非正式的持续教育来提升或保持自身的专业水平。

13 Assumes any other responsibilities as directed by the clinic coordinator within the scope of the staff nurse.

根据中心协调员的安排， 承担所有在护士责任范围之内其他工作。

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

1 Graduate from an accredited nursing school.

2 Current certification in Basis Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) preferred.

3 At least 1 yearworking experience, preferably in an International Medical Institution.

B PROFESSIONAL LICENCE

1 Staff Registered Nurse and registered with the relevant licensing authority.

C KEY SKILLS / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

1 Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin. Service-oriented, able to relate well and to build trust and rapport with patients.

2 Ability to work well independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

3 Commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, ethical values and patient care.
