Objective:

• Work along the entire industry value chain, in order to develop BASFs’ position in the agro films market
  


• Collaborate with the sales organization to drive growth.
  

Main Tasks:

• Drive growth project development in Asia

• Market understanding and Networking: Key decision makers and Key decision influencers

• Technology understanding along the value chain: Key changes and key relevant factors

• Understand the competitive environment and develop strategies in the agro industry

• Main owner of Market intelligence: from product to industry (including legislation/regulations scope )

• Enable leverage at direct customers via Sub- Regional / Regional Sales Managers

• Stir Sales and Tech center activities on project basis

• Push-Pull activities on project basis: e.g. new product launch, new positioning of existing products in certain market segments, etc.

• Input to IPM on R&D activities

• Support of Launch and Testing in strong cooperation with Competence Center community

• Responsible for overall technical support and formulation development for Value Segment Agro within Asia Pacific

• Propose and responsible for overall budget on Business Development and Technical Support for Agro in Asia Pacific.

• Take the leadership to uphold commitment in Responsible Care (EHS Compliance)

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor or master degree


• Working Experience: Above 7 years


• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Experience in marketing, business development, sales, plastic additives, plastics, plastic processing and greenhouse films preferred. Entrepreneurial Action, Customer Focus, and Innovativeness.


• Good written and spoken English as well as Mandarin
