Duties &

Responsibilities:


The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and can work well with a wide range of cross-functional initiatives of liability and capital modeling and analytics.



1. Reviewing, maintaining, and enhancing the annuity model for the Workers' Compensation block on a quarterly basis. Timely interactions with Chartis Actuarial, Claims, and GAVM are involved.

2. Assist with the aggregation of enterprise actuarial liability models for ALM discussions. Support sensitivity testing and reporting on both ad-hoc basis and a regular basis.

3. Facilitate corporate decision making on insurance capital by working closely with actuaries in the life and retirement services business units.

Validation and documentation of models according to corporate standards.




Candidate

Specification:


1. Bachelor's degree plus completion of at least two actuarial exams

2. 0 - 5 years of actuarial experience working in an insurance company or consulting firm

3. Experiences with MoSes, Prophet or other actuarial software a plus

4. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Mandarin and in English, overseas exposure preferred

5. Experiences with finance, ALM, capital management, risk management a plus

6. Familiarity with asset analytics and capital markets a plus

7. Good interpersonal skill, attention to details and strong sense of responsibility
