Duties & Responsibilities:

AIG is conducting annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) in preparation for the requirement of the US Federal Reserve regulation. PC Strategic Finance is looking for qualified persons to join the team in Shanghai within the Capital Planning and Stress Test Group. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

1. Review and quality assurance of GAAP and Statutory Financial Projections models and model results, submitted from different regions worldwide
2. Set up quality control procedures to assure the accuracy through end-to-end execution process
3. Executing quarterly AIG and Fed CCAR stress testing
4. Performing variance and trend analysis of financial and capital forecast
5. Standardize and improve Fed CCAR execution process through better coordination
6. Support review and challenge from various business functions on forecast results
7. prepare the review packages for risk and finance committees review and signoff
8. Work closely with various business functions (ERM, Capital Planning, FP&A, Treasury, Actuarial, Asset Management, Investment Accounting, etc) on deliverables
9. Implementing governance and control around the execution process
10. Document execution process, governance and control procedures
11. Support AIG internal auditing and Fed Capital Planning Inspection on financial forecast results
12. Other ad-hoc projects that relate to capital management.

Candidate Specification:

1. BS degree or higher from top University with accounting / Finance major
2. 1-3 years of experience working in financial services industry, preferably with experience at global property/casualty insurance company or insurance service firms
3. Knowledgeable on GAAP and US statutory accounting rules and international accounting job experience a plus
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
5. Good interpersonal skill, strong sense of responsibility
6. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, business resources and third parties
