Position: Marketing Communications Manager
Report to: Vice President of Business Development
Subordinate: Marketing Specialist
Job Overview:
This position has primary responsibility for undertaking activities that support the marketing services initiatives of China. This role will drive the hnds-on execution of numerous B-to-B marketing activities (including market presence and awareness, customer relationship management with sales, marketing communication and product launch literature and communications).
The Marketing Communications Manager will bring the ability to communicate and collaborate with all of China’s leadership and sales teams in the region to execute China marketing strategies as well as develop new China-based marketing campaigns using analysis, trends, new ideas and strategic insights.
Marketing budget control, communications material and customer displays will be the responsibility of the Marketing Communications Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
?1.Track and analyze market data to establish and maintain a clear understanding of how the China market is evolving and our market position is affected.
?2.Develops annual marketing plan and budget in conjunction with sales team. Delivery of all marketing activities within agreed budget.
?3.Plan, develop, coordinate, execute and measure China marketing campaigns, programs and initiatives that are aligned to overall regional strategies to generate leads and increase market awareness of Company.
?4.Analyze client and channel partner behaviors, from qualitative and quantitative data, to develop an understanding of user/channel partner behaviors and how we should market our products.
?5.Maintain monthly reports and dashboards and participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews explaining marketing activities
?6.Monitor and track competitive marketing activities and communicate consumer preferences to Product Management and Sales. Create a process to track competitors' effort in marketing and pricing. Keep abreast of competitors' activities and manage the Competitive Matrix.
?7.Plan and execute product launches for Marketing activities based on the NPD process, Product Review Boards and input from Sales
?8.Design unique Marketing Campaign as appropriate to support product launch of our innovative products.
?9.Create selling tools for our sales group to better promote our products which includes literature and pamphlets
?10.Create market segment specific communication and advertising program for optimum return on investment.
?11.Create and ensure accurate content of all marketing-related materials (catalogues, brochures, emails, etc).
?12.Responsible to analyze and negotiate with different communication channels.
?13.Identify key leading indicators / predictors on business opportunities in China.
?14.Tap into new market segment either through existing products or new products.
?15.Carry out Market Survey as appropriate. Attend networking functions, events and trade shows.
?16.Responsible for managing and hiring a Marketing Specialist
Job Requirements:
?1.Bachelor of Business Degree (Marketing major)
?2.7~8 years working experience with 5 years of strong B-to-B marketing experience
?3.Analytical: ability to analyze multiple data points and develop clear hypotheses and actionable from the results.
?4.Highly motivated self-starter who can multi-task and respond to changing work activities with very short deadlines.
?5.Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy on all work activities.
?6.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
?7.Ability to negotiate and to resolve conflict.
?8.Demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize.
?9.Possesses strong organizational skills, is process-oriented and has ability to multi-task well.
?10.Demonstrated analytical skills.
?11.Strong creative ability on idea generation, product innovation etc.
?12.Good team-player with strong leadership skills who is accountable, responsible and communicates and collaborates well with others with the ability to maintain strong relationships with other functions.
?13.Work with Harmony and take Action on tasks and assignments.
?14.Independent work ability with minimal supervision.
?15.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, to include Word, Power Point, Outlook and Advanced Excel.
?16.Required to make Presentations as Sales requires
