职位描述
Summary:
The China Business Development Manager is responsible to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and proposing actions to develop them (e.g. partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, merger or acquisitions, disinvestments), setting up and negotiate relevant agreements, establishing high-level institutional contacts, leading business partners relationships and supporting statutory activities.
Essential responsibilities:
Responsible to provide valuation estimation on acquisition target or partnership investment.
Serve as the “Project Manager” for business development projects and work with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Product Development to define project timeline and deliverables.
Provide strategic and market analysis to evaluate new business opportunities with the purpose of establishing partnerships or identifying potential customers
Management of Intellectual Property issues and preparation of products license agreement contracts, in coordination with the relevant departments, to be negotiated with partners.
Competition benchmarking through the monitoring of financial reports and partnership creation.
Support in the analysis of different business scenarios, in the preparation of business plans and reports
Meet with and communicate effectively with potential external partners, at multiple levels of their organization
Build and maintain a network of strong working relationships with every business and function in Powertrain China
Leading business partners relationships and supporting the SFH Board of Directors preparation.
Education & experience
Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or Strategy is preferred; several years (at least 7) of related work experience
Related works experience could be:
Experience working as a strategy consultant or analyst
Business development experience for a large corporation
Work experience in Powertrain or Manufacturing
Project Management certification/experience
Current or former business development or corporate development manager from a large multi-national corporation
Required Skills
Foreigner (preferably European) living in China since many years;
Experience working in a matrixed, multi-national company
Strong personal presence, maturity and the credibility
Strong networking and interpersonal skills
Project management capability; experience leading and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams
Experience working on deals/transactions, preferably from target identification all the way through execution and integration
Excellent English knowledge
Superior Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills; experience with Access is a plus
Ability to structure an independent work stream, make progress with relatively little direction from time-to-time, and act like a leader for a select set of projects
Ability to thrive in an environment characterized by ambiguity, where objectives and processes are not always clear
