Position: Studio Manager for Kevin L. Erwin CSE, PWS, DeTao Master of Ecological Restoration in Shanghai - Songjiang District Number: 1, P.R. China

Responsibilities: The Studio Manager (SM) will organize and supervise all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth and efficient running of Studio Erwin. The SM will carry out a range of administrative and IT-related tasks. The work will vary from running the administrative side of the Studio as a sole administrator to overseeing the office work of all Studio staff and students.

Job Description: Has the ability to build relationships with DeTao staff, the Studio and master’s network, project stakeholders, members of the public, government agencies and the private sector. The SM will organize events, and social gatherings in the studio and elsewhere in China. The SM will attend meetings while also ensuring the studio is well prepared for meetings. The SM must liaise with collaborators, suppliers and other Studio staff while carrying out specific projects and tasks pursuant to the master’s direction. Should have high energy, exceptional people skills, and be a problem-solver. The SM should have some familiarity with environmental issues of P.R. China. The SM must be a strong team player, focused on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Education background: Undergraduate degree in business, management, engineering or environmental science
Must have excellent proficiency in Chinese and English (verbal and writing) – no exceptions please. Work experience: Five-year minimum in a related capacity.
