Responsibilities:

- Manage Rubbermaid Consumer supplier quality assurance process to meet requirements in terms of quality and time.
- Drive the continuous improvement of existing suppliers.
- Work as a Quality Project Manager to ensure quality improvement activities are on schedule. Activities could include corrective action, product testing, process changes for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activity for supplier quality issues. Visit supplier regularly to verify corrective actions are still in use.
- Work closely Quality Assurance team in Atlanta, US to define measurable process and product characteristics. Work closely with Suppliers to ensure strong Control Plans, measurement plans and mistake-proofing.
- Ensure success PPAP approval. Supervise manufacturing activity during pre-production builds (engineering build, manufacturing build and pilot build).
- Coordinate to solve the problems of process/product/communication between supplier, 3rd party audit team, customer and sourcing team to ensure the shipment can be released on quality and on time.
- Perform regular QMS assessment and process control audit to drive continuous improvement.
- Verify product safety compliance according to regulatory requirements, ensure no product recall
- Manage product category: Metal, plastic home products


Qualifications

? Bachelor degree in Materials Science preferably in metallurgy, master degree is an added plus
? At least 5 years working experience in supplier quality management
? Strong technical competency in materials science
? Extensive working experience in design, manufacturing, and / or usage of hand tools, machine tools.
? Good knowledge of Quality management system (ISO 9000, ISO 16949, SA 8000, etc)
? Familiar with Manufacturing processes (fabrication and assembly) - forging, casting, machining, heat treatment, welding, and HVAC.
? Application of quality tools (FMEA, DOE, PPAP, SPC etc)
? Strong problem solving and failure analysis
? Familiar with Product safety regulations
? Customer service oriented
? Strong Presentation and communication skills
? Fluent in English and Chinese languages (written and spoken).
