ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Act as technical expert to support customer business by figuring out solutions proactively and complete all undertakings with high quality and on schedule
? Be responsible for development/maintenance of applications, related systems and tools, including analysis, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation
? Interact successfully with business owners, project managers and other technical teams
? Be responsible for identifying technical risks and look for mitigation plan
? Follow the company development process(CMM: Pearl)
? Help the junior developers to grow up
? Solve technical issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Competencies: Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Functional Competencies:
? Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in commercial software development disciplines
? Proven track record of successfully shipping a commercial software product and/or service to market
? 5+ years of experience with Java.
? 2+ years of enterprise software design and architecture
? POS background is highly desired
? Ability to design a new website application from scratch with popular frameworks and break down into detail design.
? Strong knowledge and hand-on experience on Java coding and J2EE.
? Strong knowledge and hand-on experience on Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSP framework.
? Strong knowledge and hand-on experience on Swing
? Strong knowledge experience on Front-end tech like JS, JQuery, Ajax, Axis.
? Strong knowledge experience on Web Service
? Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with corporate stakeholders as well and technical experts.
? Experience on Relational database (oracle,mysql)
? Agile software development project management experience
? Experience shipping software in globalized and localized environments
? Exposure to delivering software as a service
? Experience on performance tuning is preferred.
? Experience on Progress SQL is preferred,
? Experience on Drools is preferred.
? Experience with Unix (Linux/Mac OS X) is a plus
? E-commerce experience is a plus.

Interpersonal Competencies:
? Good communication skills
? Work well in a team environment or individually, with a positive attitude
? Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers
? Ability to work under a fast paced delivery oriented environment

Leadership Competencies:
? Follow direction and keep peers and manager informed of progress, changes and issues
? Prioritize own activities so that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
? Demonstrate integrity, maturity and a constructive approach to challenges

2) Experience:
? At least 5 years of experience in Software development including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
? At least 5 years experience in Java
? At least 1 years experience leading a technical team with over 4 team members

3) Minimum educational level:
? MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
