SUMMARY

Manages product demand and sales forecast processes:
? Consolidates demand and supply forecasts
? Balances supply with demand to ensure business needs align with customer needs
? Achieve corporate and business working capital targets.
? Seek opportunities to optimize the inventory of individual products at individual plant and warehouse locations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Coordinates with sales, business, and customer service personnel, as well as market information and statistical tools when applicable; to agree on and deliver a demand driven forecast plans.
? From demand forecast works with manufacturing, technical service, and logistics to develop long range production plans to balance the supply with demand within various capacity constraints to meet demand while meeting inventory goals. May involve the need to balance between multiple plants in multiple regions.
? Recommends for approval and ensures that inventory targets (including safety stock levels) approved by management are maintained.
? Prepares and communicates forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).
? Identifies potential capacity restrictions which impact goals and develop plans to alleviate restrictions.
? Monitors stock-keeping unit levels and recommends stock-keeping unit rationalization initiatives in the future.
? Communicates decisions and supply impacts to all stakeholders in the planning process.
? Tracks scheduled plant down time and anticipates inventory needs


EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Technical or Business degree
Sales Forecasting or Production experience, approx.. 2-3 years

LANGUAGE SKILLS
English and Chinese, good in both writing and speaking.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP)
Strong math skills
