? Supporting the Chinese based Managers ( x2) in organizing sales and technical visits in China and the far east
? Receiving customer enquiries
? Assisting with quotations
? Liaising with the UK head office
? Informing clients of equipment deliveries
? Assisting with exhibitions in China
? Website and literature support ( training to be given if necessary)
? Handling cash, issuing of cheques etc. (Up to a certain value only)
The ideal candidate must have a total fluency in English and mandarin or Cantonese (both preferably) and be able to read and write fluently in English. This represents a very exciting opportunity which may involve an annual trip to the UK for training and wider team membership and support. Computer literacy is vital as is the ability to work under pressure, ability with figures, analytical ability etc.
The person must be totally trustworthy and also have at least a basic knowledge of cash handling and banking procedures.
The position will report to the UK based Managing Director who will travel to China for meetings from time to time.
