GTO-Quality Control Inspector(34913BR)

Responsibility

？ Be responsible for carrying out parts testing and inspection by using the correct method of measure, equipment and specifications.

？ Carry investigation or extended measurements when suspicions are raised from parts deviation, final judgment to be made

？ Archive all documentation of initial samples and measurement protocols with name of approver

？ Perform necessary corrective actions initiated with supplier contacts and material planner

？ Maintain quality control tools and carry out annual calibration.

？ Update QC codes in system with free text of defective parts and keep it consistently updated according to results through many times of testing

？ Educate the responsible person in bonded warehouse with profound QC knowledge

？ Establish new warehouse process like quality control, pre-packing and kitting and make recommendations for process improvements

？ Be a support for other processes within Shanghai warehouse, like below:

o Pre-packaging codes update and maintain;

o Pre-packaging material internal process carry-out and follow up in system;

o Parts additional info update in system;

o Parts first-time-arrival registration with necessary follow up when deviation occurs, Initiate reports with material planner whenever having DCR at receiving.

Authority

？ Approve/Reject initial samples from suppliers

？ Has the right to block sales of parts that doesn’t meet the Volvo standard quality requirements

Requirement

？ At least graduated from technical colleges with relative quality control majors. Engineering background is preferred.

？ Have solid quality control knowledge and fundamental.

？ Be able to read parts drawings

？ Be able to use all QC tools

？ Be able to read and write English ( drawings are all displayed in English)

？ At least 3 years’ relative experience in automobile industry,

？ Observant, detail-oriented with patience

？ Good computer and communication skills

？ Mandatory fully proficient Mandarin

Work location: Non Bonded warehouse, on the floor

Report to: Inbound Manager
