Job Purpose:
-Generate and facilitate Trade Finance/Re-Financing, structured Trade Finance, Risk Participation, Cash Management, Loans and Syndicated Loans business, Custodian Services business flow and revenue for the Bank.
-Coordinate and facilitate Client Coverage, Global Market and other business units to acquire new business and interbank limits.
-Manage Maybank credit risk exposure on FI, NBFI and Risk limits.
-Generate FI & NBFI customers Deposit (both fixed deposit & CASA) for Maybank.
-Facilitate Maybank Greater China offices to obtain interbank funding from FIs.
-Facilitate Headquarter and other overseas branches on the requirement of FI & NBFI and help to promote and increase cross border flow of trade and TT remittance to/from other overseas branches
-Support Maybank HK Branch CD issuance and CD Programme management.
-Work with Global Markets to establish and promote Islamic Banking Finance in GC.

Job Duties:
-Responsible for the management and development of the new business opportunities with FI, NBFI & Public Sector customers.
-Proactively offer the professional advice in product and business strategy for Maybank Greater China.
-Drive and understand the internal product platform development.
-Demonstrate professional skills to Maybank ‘s FI customers.
-Develop and maintain relationship with customers and explore new business opportunities in both assets (loan) and liabilities (deposits) sides with FI, NBFI and Public Sectors.
-Support and manage the FI, NBFI and Public Sector customers in GC in a/c administration.
-Drive innovation, strategy and product development for Financial Institutions and relevant Transaction Banking products lines to achieve Maybank Greater China business objectives and expansion plan.
-Collaborate with internal & external departments to establish the Transaction Banking platform which comprises Cash Management, Trade Finance, Factoring, Structured and Commodity Finance, and Securities Services.
-Provide product expertise and knowledge to FI customers in Maybank Greater China.

Job Requirements:
-University graduate or related disciplines in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or Business Administration, 10 years of relevant experience or above.
-Solid and proven track record in Transaction Banking & relationship management, especially in dealing with FI, NBFI & Public Sector customers.
-Possess good banking product knowledge including Trade Finance, Risk Management, Custodian Services, Cash Management, loans & syndicated loans business, Global Markets etc.
-Strong credit and risk analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
-Strong business development skills, performance driven and sales-oriented.
-Ability to work independently and under pressure.
-Highly proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
-Aggressive, result oriented with good business acumen.
-Need to station in Shanghai and may involve frequent business travel to H.K. and also other parts of China.
