Job Responsibilities:

A. Marketing
-Actively develop and maintain relationship with existing / new customers by exploring business co-operation opportunities in the areas of lending, trade finance, deposits, cash management and treasury-related activities.
-Actively develop and maintain good relationship with different PRC banks and soliciting different opportunities including onshore / offshore trade finance and other businesses.
-Perform due diligence on account opening re deposit, loan, vostro / nostro accounts of FI/ non-bank FI customers.
-Liaise with HO/back office re account opening process such as swift RMA, documents compliance.
-Liaise with FI, non-bank FI and correspondence with FI and non FI on account opening, fees, terms, and loan drawdown etc.
-Seek concurrence from HO for account opening. Liaise with HO on IBW, nostro, vostro, client account and other account opening as required by other divisions.
-Liaise with HO on souvenir ordering, marketing materials; provide MBB info to other banks as required for account opening.

B. Credit origination
-Be responsible for fresh processing, credit writing, analysis memo for HO's approval (all type of loans, investment papers like OD / TL / RC / SL / trade finance / risk participation / CB / derivatives, etc.).
-Perform credit renewals or other ad hoc requests
-May need to perform site visits for and on behalf of other MBB branches.
-Handle appeals from customers, variations of terms & conditions.
-Handle issuance of L/O.
-Be responsible for all other aspects of loan processing, including OCISS & LIS checking, world checking, sam checking, company searches in HK, terrorist financing, money laundering etc.
-Handle IRRS rating, external rating monoriting

C. Other actions
- Assist in daily monitoring of loan daily monitoring/asset swap fixed & floating rates.
- Assist in preparation of Reports (to HKMA, IBD, Accounting, BNM, local authorities).
-Develop synergy with Maybank Group.
-Collaborate with other departments and Head Office.
-Be responsible for other miscellaneous matters, ad-hoc assignment including translation, speech preparation etc

Job Requirements:

-With Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or other related disciplines.
-With at least 5-7 years experiences in handling FI / NBFI business.
-Sound knowledge in handling loans, notes, IRS, account opening, credit checking in FI division.
-Independent, result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
-Good analysis and communication skills.
-Need to station in Shanghai but need to frequent travel to H.K. and other parts of China
-Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
