POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the Support Team, the candidate will be required to provide technical and product support services to worldwide FICO customers, both internal and external. Successful candidate will work on implementation projects as well as provide technical support to clients.
Must be a strong team player who will enjoy being part of a friendly but hard working client focused team that cares passionately about providing the highest possible levels of service and client satisfaction. Position will be responsible for providing product support to clients, specifically on FICO's Fraud Banking application for large financial organizations. This role entails working with clients to upgrade their existing software. On-site client visits may be required (~10%). Must possess the ability to understand the business impact the customer is experiencing to assign correct problem severity. Working as part of a global team, this role will always be able to rely on engineers in other regions when needed, but must prove to be equally reliable as a global team member to assist other groups on issues when able. Strong self-motivation and time management skills are required, since often multiple problems can present themselves quickly, requiring good understanding of severity, multi-tasking and communication
Responsibilities will include:
? Troubleshoot technical problems
? Develop and implement upgrade plan for client engagements.
? Manage client issues and escalations regarding FICO products – plan and execute resolution
? Replicate client environments for Product Support.
? Test and validate client solutions before deploying them at the client site.
? Replicate customer issues and report defects/enhancements.
? Create functional, technical and end-user documentation.
? Assisting in the knowledge transfer process for the client
The successful candidate will also act as a mentor or provide guidance on specific technical issues including remote technical upgrade services, assisting colleagues involved with prospects or new client implementations and passing on product/client knowledge to new or existing colleagues via training workshops and presentations.
Successful applicant will also be part of the on-call rotation.
Experience Requirements:
BS/BA or equivalent
Ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Software including 5+ years in a customer facing role.
Previous experience working in a client facing support environment
Education and training should demonstrate excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
? Fluent in English and Chinese
? Experience with Mainframe technologies like COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL and VSAM.
? Experience with Java and/or Web environments (WebSphere, TDS, and BO)
? Knowledge of debuggers and profilers (Java and C).
? Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Unix Shell scripting.
Experience in relational databases (DB2, Oracle).
? Ability to work in Mainframe, Windows and UNIX environments.
? Experience with leading app servers.
? Experience troubleshooting multi-tier enterprise applications.
Working experience in any of the following areas would be considered an advantage:
? Working knowledge of JCL, REXX scripting.
? Exposure to SOAP WebServices.
? Language coding skills as well as familiarity with Java, .NET and C#.
? Hands on experience using Java in EJB or Web environments.
? Working knowledge of JSP and Servlets.
?Working knowledge in Linux and MySql.
? Troubleshooting skills with network related issues.
