Wagas is a multi award winning group of cafes serving delicious everyday food – sandwiches, pasta, salad, cake, fresh juice, smoothie & coffee.
We are busy expanding our brands in China and are looking for an Interior Designer to join our dynamic in-house design team in Shanghai.
YOUR PROFILE/
A degree in architecture or interior design
5+ year professional experience working in a dynamic design studio
Experience in transforming brands into three-dimensional experiences
Knowledge of materials and detailed planning
Knowledge of all production and implementation phases from the initial drawings to final completion
Experience in on-site supervision
Management of sub-projects in the design-process, interface with other specialized departments and suppliers
Preparation and delivery of presentations (on the phone, digitally, in person)
Passionate about design with an understanding of current and emerging design trends and able to bring this enthusiasm to your work
Able to operate Mac/PC and proficientin Adobe CS6; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and common drawing and 3D software; 3ds Max, AutoCAD and Sketchup.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail
Able to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a larger team- strong time management and organizational skills
Languages – Chinese and English
Personal interest within foreign lifestyle and culture is a plus
