Senior MCU Application RF Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

· Customer application support, development of and understanding of customer applications in embedded programming languages (C- and ASSEMBLY, primarily)

· Hardware design of MCU (ARM & AVR) application solution. Include but not limited to Zigbee/WIFI/Bluetooth applications.

· Provide hardware related design service. Develop demo, prototype as requested by internal & external customers.

· Provide technical training for internal and external customer.

· Generate application notes in both English and Chinese Language.

· Review technical documents.

· Provide the technical interface to customers and sales force during prospecting, evaluation, design-in and post-sales phases.

· Assist Product Engineering in the analysis of field returns (FA and RMA).

Mandatory Skills

· Firm hardware design knowledge in both analog & digital field.

· Firm PCB layout knowledge.

· Firm RF hardware design/debug knowledge. Familiar with RF hardware design/debug/manufacture workflow.

· Basic embedded C-programming knowledge is a must.

· EMC knowledge and experience.

· Excellent written English and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

· Experience with Atmel MCU hardware and firmware development.

· Familiar with Altium design.

· Experience with Zigbee/WIFI/Bluetooth hardware/firmware development.

· Experience with English technical document writing.

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree of Electrical Engineering, Cybernetic, and Informatics

Experience

3+ years’ experience in RF hardware design of application development.

Experience with customer interaction is a benefit.
