ARM eMPU Senior Software and Tools Engineer

Responsibilities
· Develop several of the ROM code and bootloaders, the programming tools and development tools, the software examples and drivers for the peripherals (including the middleware and stacks for the complicated peripherals like USB, Ethernet, MCI, user interface, touch screen, and so on), the software packages, software frameworks, demos, reference design applications, RTOSes porting, etc for the ARM eMPU/CSP/Secure products.
· Write software application notes and technical articles.
· Participate in the customer support.
· Involve in the development and management of the embedded RTOS partners.
· Help the manager to manage the projects, follow up and report progresses, assist and coach others technically when necessary.
· Participate in the collaboration with the Software and Tools Team in France for defining the tasks and objectives, reporting achievements, and solving issues.
Mandatory Skills
· Must have solid C/C++ programming experience in the development of several of the following: the ROM code and bootloaders, the programming tools and development tools, the software examples and drivers for the peripherals, the middleware and stacks, the software packages, software frameworks, demos, and applications for ARM microprocessors.
· Must have proven experience in software development tools, such as compilers, debuggers, in-circuit emulators (ICE), integrated development environments (IDE), etc.
· Must have proven experience in software development flow (version control, bug tracking, software delivery, coding standard…).
· Must have a proven record in successful embedded software projects as a key member.
· Must have the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external interfaces.
· Must be a self-starter with the ability to proactively propose technically competent solutions; must be result-oriented and have the skills to manage time efficiently.

Preferred Skills
· Preferred to have proven experience in designing peripheral drivers under RTOS, such as uCOS-II, eCOS, Free-RTOS, ThreadX, etc.
· Preferred multi-national company (MNC) working experience in semiconductor industry.
· Preferred experience of project management.
· English, fluent conversation, reading and writing
· Chinese mandarin, native speaker
Education
Bachelor above degree in Computer Science or related major, Master above preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5-year experience in embedded software development.
