Senior MCU Application Touch Engineer (BSW)

Responsibilities

· Execute Customer Projects, Reference designs & Application Notes to fetch more design ins/wins in Touch-BSW segment.

· Actively involved in technical support operations, helping customers in resolving (design & implementation) issues, interfacing with customers & internal departments regarding the status and resolution of open issues related to Touch-BSW efforts.

· Assist customers in designing, developing & troubleshooting embedded projects/applications with Capacitive touch user interface.

· Early engineering samples validation, Resolving or improving on Noise/Conducted immunity performance cases.

· Provide creative solutions and workarounds to address customer issues

· Create supporting documentation and preparing technical information for customers.

· Provide feedback to internal groups on improvements in hardware, software, tools and documentation.

· Develop & impart technical trainings to customers and field engineers.

Mandatory Skills

· Hardware design skills.

· Expertise in 8/16/32-Bit Microcontrollers & Peripherals such as ADC/DAC, Comparator, PWM, RTC, WDT, Timer/Counters, etc.

· Hands on with Assembly & C Programming.

· Strong knowledge on various protocols/interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.

· Ability to work using Digital Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer, IDE & debug with JTAG based interface.

· Knowledge/Exposure on Capacitive Touch Technology & Sensor designs.

· Exposure on post silicon validation & handling Noise/Conducted immunity in Touch applications is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

· Experience on Atmel’s AVR MCU.

· Familiar with Altium design.

· Experience with English technical document writing.

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree of Electrical Engineering, Cybernetic, and Informatics

Experience

5+ years’ experience in hardware design/debug of application development based on MCU

Experience with customer interaction is a benefit.
