Overall Purpose of Job
This should be a broad overview of this position’s function. Include the overall scope of the position and the authority this position possesses in terms of programs/ projects/ operations and establishing policy.
? To drive the profitable growth of the product line sales in China
Major Responsibilities
List the major responsibilities and accountabilities of this position. Include quantifiable data where appropriate (i.e. budget dollars, etc.)
? New Business (battle plan reviews with VP and multi-functional participation)
? Monthly target reviews with (short) official meeting minutes.
? Meeting looks at overall status of all targets on list plus deep dives one or two specific battle plans
? Set up a calendar for these reviews and issue for the year
? Achieve structure and process implemented for these. (Attendance per D Royce guidelines-> VP, eng, purch etc).
? Monthly Sales team (representatives of each account) meeting
? Have discipline in holding the monthly meeting
? Issue (short) monthly official minutes.
? Make the meeting relevant/add value - especially for cross customer group issues
? Commercial Management - be a focus point for the Product Line.
? Overall monitoring and management of pricing (budget and actual)- close liaison with Rob Gravell.
? Material inflation/deflation status/tracking
? Receivables - watch and highlight to the sales teams discrepancies/adverse issues. Chase to resolution.
? Act as a champion to help the sales teams get things unblocked with Ops /plants as necessary.
? Process development.
? Work with Rob Gravell etc to ensure processes/systems driven
? Work in a complementary fashion with account teams. Reinforce disciplines.
? High profile and active Business unit engagement
? In local management team meetings
? In Ops Reviews- exhibit leadership and awareness.
? In Strategic Plan process support.
? Crossing role during critical business acquisition
? Support engineering team to lead initial engineering communication
? Introduce TRW new technology to customers in early phase.
? Collect competition information to help engineering team improve design to support regional profitable business growth
? Emerging Markets support.
? Take a view for the BU -> are we getting ourselves disqualified versus the competition etc. Should the BU be taking some initiative (across customers) to support (eg Turkey, Morocco)
? Work hand in hand with the relevant GAD team

Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Language: Fluent in both English & Mandarin
Experience: 3 years experience in Engineering Design or Development in Automotive sector.
