This Automation QA Engineer position will work on multiple, concurrent projects testing complex website. Responsibilities include creating test plans, reviewing requirements documents, developing and execution of test cases, convert test cases to automation scripts, and reporting results and status to the various project teams.
The ideal candidate for this position has extensive experience in automation testing, particularly using Mercury’s Quick Test Pro. Also he or she should communicate with foreign colleagues in spoken and written English.
Requirements/Qualifications
3-5 years working as QA/tester in English environment.
Must master English communication skill using tools such as Email, Word, Excel.
Hands-on experience/projects with QTP, including creating & executing new automation scripts.
Experience setting up and designing an automation framework for QTP or other automation tools.
Experience with VB/VBScript, or expert in any other programming language.
Working through the entire software development life cycle, can analyze the requirement, create test plan, write and execute test cases (manual), tack the bugs.
Have strong self-motivation, work ethic, and teamwork mentality with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Pluses
Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling within various DB environments (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Hands-on experience/projects with automation tools such as Selenium, Waiter.
Export in any one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript.
Familiarity with financial information industry software.
