Overview.
An experienced Body Test Manager required to work within the Qoros Body Engineering SE team responsible for management of body component and sub-system specifications and testing.
The role will be based in Shanghai with business trips to component and engineering suppliers in Europe and Asia as required.
Reporting to; Body Engineering Director – Malcolm Smith.
Scope of responsibilities
？Develop specifications for all body component hardware (CTS).
？Develop SSTS (Sub-System Technical Specification) for all Qoros body sub-systems.
？Develop DVP&R (Design Validation Plan and Report) for all components and sub systems.
？Identify and Management of component suppliers testing
？Work with engineering, purchase and component suppliers to ensure;
oconformance to specification and test plans
oDevelopment of specifications
oCost down activities
oQuality improvements
？Work with test suppliers to develop body component test plans in line with overall vehicle test schedule.
？Develop and control budget and expenditure for sub systems testing
？Analyse and report back on all test results.
？Technical guidance and support to the various engineering teams.
？Work closely with Qoros Vehicle Integration Team to realize all testing expectations.
？Benchmrking activities as required.
？Work cloely with Purchase to realize cost saving
？Manage and train Qoros support engineers.
？Support prototype vehicle build.
？Drive all issues through to resolution.

Key Skills
？Experience and in depth knowledge of Body components and sub-systems.
？Good team working and communication skills are essential.
？Previous working in China would be an advantage.
？CATIA v5 would be an advantage.
？MS office usage.
？Knowledge of ISO90001, TS16949 & related Quality system would be an advantage.
