Responsibilities:
Lead and Coordinate the innovative design of products to specifications defined by product management
Product support in manufacturing operations and may include but not limited to: all engineering support activities that ensure high quality and cost effective manufacture of product by a supplier or Tyco-owned facility; engineering support for sales and marketing; and validation of Tyco product and benchmarking with competitors
Compliance of designs to relevant standards
Adhere to procedures for design control, verification, documentation, validation of product designs, and compliance to standards and procedures

Educational and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from China Tertiary Institute
Minimum of 8 years' experience in design or product support in manufacturing of industrial products
Strong computational skills and demonstrated experience in 2D, and 3D CAD assemblies
Experience with mathematical design tools such as Finite Element Analyses would be an advantage
Self-motivated and able to prioritise work and stay focused on overall objectives
Ability to time manage others to meet project schedule milestones
Interpersonal skills required to mentor junior design engineers, and maintain a respectful and productive working relationship with all other employees and suppliers
Experience in managing technical teams
