Position Description
Our growing Shanghai office is looking for an experienced or inexperience (graduate) Sales Consultant who is keen to develop a career in customer service, sales and ICT. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate will be responsible for:
? Understand clients’ business and ICT requirements;
? Communicate & coordinate with clients, vendors & suppliers to quote and present solutions;
? Account management, presales and consult with clients on ICT hardware, software and service needs;
? Maintain a high level of customer service;
? Perform lead generation activities as directed.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personality Attributes
To help deliver AVTech’s strategy the successful candidate MUST HAVE the following skills, experience, qualifications and personality attributes:
? Skills & Experience
o Interns, graduates and experienced people may apply;
o Excellent communication and written skills in English & Chinese;
o Knowledge & strong interest in general ICT hardware and software;
o Proactive and team oriented;
o Ability to open conversations and close deals;
o Basic knowledge of office applications (MS Windows. Word, Excel, Power Point);
o Existing China ICT distributor experience and relationships would be an advantage.
? Qualifications
o Under-graduates or graduates with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, English or a discipline to aid in the role described;
o Other known industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage;
o Customer service and/or marketing experience would be an advantage.
? Personality Attributes
o Professionally presented. We are a corporate/professionally dressed organization (ie. shirt and tie for men, and similar equivalent for women);
o Self motivated and willing to work outside the normal business working hours to meet business and client expectations;
o A positive, results oriented and customer focused attitude;
o A desire to take responsibility and ownership to see actions/issues through to completion;
o The ability to adapt to a changing environment that requires proactive and innovative solutions.
