Job Summary:
This position is responsible for quality management (QM) within investment projects for the chemical industry within China.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for quality management (QM) within investment projects for the chemical industry within China, in accordance with the QM concept of the TÜV SÜD Chemical Services;
2.Provide quality management concept to ensure the necessary quality of chemical plants consisting of pressure vessels, apparatuses, tanks, piping, valves, steel structure etc. to customers like chemical industry and engineering contractors;
3.Consultancy on code and design-related questions and on material-specific and welding requirements for equipments;
4.Preparation and review of purchasing specifications;
5.Advisory services for selecting suitable manufacturers of material / equipment;
6.Auditing of manufacturers;
7.Evaluation and documentation;
8.QA/QC services during fabrication of equipment at manufacturers site;
9.QA/QC services during erection and mounting of plants on site;
10.Expediting of manufacturers;
11.QA/QC services and management during the in-service of chemical plants;

Job Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree or above in welding or mechanical engineering;
2.Qualification as welding engineer or NDT is highly desire;
3.Five years minimum job experience as engineer in the area of QA/QC;
4.Experience in engineering of plants for chemical industry preferably with an international engineering company;
5.Experience in design, fabrication, welding and testing of piping, tank , pressure vessel etc in chemical industry field;
6.Good knowledge about Chinese regulations, codes (e.g. GB 150/151) and standards for pressure vessels and piping preferably also knowledge about international codes like ASME or API ;
7.Experience in chemical plant's maintenance and familiar with the maintenance regulations of chemical plants is prefer ;
8.Job involves traveling to customers' and manufacturers' locations and to headquarter in Germany for training;
9.Good at office software, and SAP would be a plus;
10.Good command of English;
