- Support P1 projects for proper applications of the standards
- Support P1 teams at the customer for presentations of the solutions prepared in the P2 once IP protection is certified
- Manage different areas of simulation (mechanical, electrical, thermal, electromagnetic, etc.), validate calculations reports written by specialists in each field. Plan work requests and ensure the realization of simulation tasks on time and respect for quality.
- Organize information flow of the Service of Calculation to Projects and Divisions. Sustain knowledge dissemination via databases, training plan, Expert files and knowledge committees.
- Follow the efficiency plan for Design Office and Calculations Office. Push for the development of methodologies to improve this efficiency (for both design and simulation)
- Manage the recruitment, training, standardization of tools for designers. Ensure the linking of Projects - external companies for the recruitment of mechanical designers.
- Contribute to approve the design of P0,P1, and P2 projects of Branch over product lines of starter& restarter ,generators and StARS. Ensure the integrity of design folders (FMEA dimension chains, recommendations, ...) in conjunction with R&D responsible persons (PTMs) of projects.
- Propose and enforce the overhead budget and investment of all design tools, mechanical and electrical simulation tools (software, licenses, leases, sub-contracting, standards).
- Member of various committee where its expertise is required: TEKNO committee, IDEAS Committee, 5 Axes Committee, VTES committee, Patent Watch Committee
- Represent the branch in the inter-branch working groups upon environment and recycling (GCT02), the ACE committee. Supervise CAD vis-à-vis technical computing and IS managers (road map IS).
- Provide technical support in his personal area of ??expertise to branch, projects, divisions.
- Supply complete standards (product/process, justification file, training …) at the end of the P2s
- Integrate Lessons Learned in the standards and update documentation
- Responsible for safety and regulations issues in sense of Valeo5000 (TBD)

Position Requirement:
- Master and above, majoring in mechanics related
- Familiar with project management and product development process
