职位描述
MAJOR DUTIES:
Plan and organize through Supervisors and group leaders/setters the activities of all production departments, manufacturing personnel and maintenance/tool room. Also assist in the implementation and maintaining of the quality system.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Assess production requirements in conjunction with the Materials department, Engineering departments and Quality department.
·Assist in establishing routine maintenance procedures for plant equipment and determining P.M. schedules working with the Materials Department.
·Ensure Health and Safety program is implemented, maintained current and enforced working with Human Resources.
·Assist Engineering, Maintenance and Quality departments to develop changes to improve product quality and reliability or changes that adapt product and machines to better utilize existing facilities and techniques.
·Accountable for the Health and Safety of all employees under his direct supervision by; ensuring that machinery and equipment are safe, making sure that employees work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures and to provide training for employees in their work tasks to help reduce or eliminate the risk of workplace injuries.
·Assist in establishing and maintaining a positive working environment throughout all manufacturing areas by; firm but fair treatment of all employees, proper administration, pay and benefit policies and periodic performance reviews.
·Working with Human Resources and Management, hire and assign duties to plant employees ,recommend or initiate personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary measures.
·Conduct employee performance evaluations, recommend adjustments accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
Technical Community College or equivalent.
Experience:
5-10 years minimum of Supervisory experience in a high volume production environment desired. Preferably in automotive or related metal industry, including experience with automated manufacturing principals and equipment.
