Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Primary responsibilities will include test development and execution, with opportunities for automated test execution and development. Candidate must have experience working in a software development environment with structured process, solid logic and debugging skills, comfort reading and writing at least one high level programming language, and knowledge of installing operating systems and patches.

Responsibilities include:
?Develops and executes system level test cases for HVAC control system
?Develops automation scripts to perform unit and end-to-end system testing
?Develops strategy and executes stress and performance tests to ensure product reliability
?Communicate with development and marketing teams regarding system functionality
?Translate marketing requirements into test plans covering the major components of the product line (e.g. host/client/server software, graphical user interfaces, embedded firmware, etc.)
?Document test results and document defects into the defect tracking system.
?Report out to team leads and management.
?Suggest ways to improve process and methodologies within the test department
?Provides reliable estimates of work effort and accurate identification of risks
?Collaborates with a cross functional team including Marketing and Technical Support
?Contributes significantly to system test design and requirements analysis
?Prioritizes work on several projects at a time
?Applies good software engineering processes, including iterative development, test driven development, unit tests, source code control, inspections and reviews

Qualifications/Requirements:

?Bachelor degree or above, major in electronics, automation, computer science or related field.
?2~3 or more years of testing experience in embedded software. Experience in HVAC control system, centrifugal chill control is preferred.
?Working experience with MNC will be a plus.
?Understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile methodologies a plus).
?Strong experience with software, GUI, and functional testing, experience in test automation development is a plus.
?Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems; Linux (AIX a plus).
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
?Team player, will have extensive interaction with development and product management.
?Highly motivated, customer focused and a clear thinker.
?Able to deliver expected results with minimal supervision.
?Familiarity with Six Sigma process control and improvement.
?Experience in HP Quality Center (Administration a plus), QTP, and National Instruments.
