Responsibilities

1. With all IE methods to improve the utility of whole facility and Human power. It is including, motivate system for production, plant and production layout, flow chart and the dealing for emergency. The goal is to improve productivity, and to make sure the whole plant run with safety and high efficiency.
2. Execute Time study for new products and process change.
3. Evaluate and analyze production capacity and headcount requirement.
4. Design and analyze the plant layout and material flow to improve the efficiency of manpower and equipment.
5. Study and improve the operation methods for productivity improvement.
6. Cost and Expense analysis for appointed projects.
7. Provide IE support to evaluate creation and other programs.
8. NPI support from IE and automation perspectives, and deliver IE training if necessary.
9. Monitor the production efficiency and have authority to judge the reasonable of efficiency variance.
10. Audit the process flow chart and production operation and correct it if needed.
11. Monitor the work procedure and have authority to correct unreasonable or non-value add procedure.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree and Industrial engineering background, 3 years above IE experience.
2. Fluent English is preferred. And computer skill is a must.
3. Experience with cost reduction, Time Study(MTM, Standard time), Plant Layout, Ergonomics, etc.
4. High Level of Logical analyze and business acumen, figure-sensitivie.
5. Ability to work independently, creativity, easy going, and open minded.
6. Honest, reliable, highly efficient, can work under pressure.
7. Has strong lean manufacturing concept, good background of DMAIC, 7 Wastes, and WCM(World Class Manufacturing) knowledge is high preferred.
8. Good report generation and presentation ability will be a plus.
