PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To create motivation and inspire IKEA co-worker and supplier for continuous improvement on IWAY/Sustainability.
To support achievement of IWAY/Sustainability goal, compliance to the IWAY Working Method and continuous improvement by conducting auditing, training and giving input.

ASSIGNMENTS:
IWAY Auditing/training:
? Plan and perform IWAY audits/ initial IWAY assessments, verify correction and final approve in accordance with IWAY Working Method and procedure
? Update all relevant IKEA systems in accordance with IWAY Working Method
? Support business team to implement IWAY at the supplier
? Identify and clarify applicable legislation
? Train suppliers and IKEA co-workers about IWAY requirement, Working Method and procedure etc

Giving input to development:
? Lead and support to identify risk on category/segment level and give input to business team for pro-active action
? Give input to business team for yearly action plans to meet the goals and priorities
? Support the action plan implementation (including IWAY, Sustainability Index and energy/water efficiency improvement etc)
? Monitor that IWAY Working Method is followed
? Provide solutions that contribute to holistic business improvement
? Support competence building and effective IWAY/Sustainability system/setup at suppliers
? Participate and contribute to global projects
? Develop and share good practice

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
IWAY Auditing/Training:
? Audit in line with IKEA Supply Chain/TAGC Audit Procedure
? Audit quality and quantity
? Training quality and quantity
? Secure quality and up to date information in SRDB / CID

Giving input to development on IWAY/Sustainability:
? Category IWAY/Sustainability goal fulfilment
? Working Method compliance
? Active involvement and leading role in Sustainability local/global projects reflecting the actual business needs (project description/plan/follow-up)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
? Understanding of IKEA Business Idea, Sustainability strategy and how they meet the customer's expectation
? Knowledge of IWAY Standard, related local legislation and IWAY working methods
? Auditing skills
? Understanding of industry-specific production/operation processes and related sustainability risks.
? Understanding of business operation processes (TOM).
? Knowledge of the relevant IKEA information systems (SRDB, CID, SSTS etc)
? Understanding of related international management system/compliance standard (ISO 14001, SA8000, OHSAS18000 etc)
? Understanding of other sustainability topics including human/child rights, animal rights, community involvement, environment impact etc
