Job Summary:
The main responsibilities are to take charge of welding process and assembly process jig and fixture design, support productivity and quality improvement in workshop line.

Key/Primary Responsibilities:

New Product Introduction
a) Support cost analysis, process design, and do jig/fixture design
b) Support construct routing and manufacturing BOM
c) Support pilot production
d) Support Implement pre-serial machine production
e) Issue and maintain work instruction sheet
Quality improvement
a) Process: Problem solving, following product audit, fool proof installation etc
b) Field: Troubleshooting for quality
Productivity improvement:
a) jig & fixture design and improvement,
b) Support process and Layout to achieve sound LOB (line of balance),
c) Facility and equipment analysis to improvement production capacity target
d) Leading and support equipment launching project
support to maintaining work instruction sheet and AP-BOM
Other work assigned by ME Manager

Candidate Profile

Professional Experience
at least 3 years’ experience
Experience in jig and fixture design or R&D is preferred

Personal Qualifications
Knowledge
Overall knowledge in manufacturing engineering
Overall knowledge for technical field (mechanics, jig & fixture design, hydraulic, etc.)
Skills
Available for 3-D, 2-D CAD knowledge
Excellent problem solving mindset and ability
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Good character & high competence
Good computer skills (Ms-office)


Possess core competencies of Volvo


Education
University or above, major in mechanical engineering

Languages
Sound English skills and mandarin both written and spoken
