Job Title: Campus & Quality Coordinator

Reporting To: Campus Manager


Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE: to ensure that the company meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements by closely coordinating with local Regulatory Authority and acting as company focal for the legislative and regulatory bodies' liaison; and maintaining all kinds of CAAC & NAA related certification and renewals of the regulatory documents.


Responsibilities

QUALITY

? Be familiar with current regulatory quality management system requirements in regards to the CAAC-China as well as other applicable NAAs. Requires annual internal audit against these requirements.

? Be familiar with the requirements of the AS91 00 Rev C quality management system. Requires annual internal audit against these requirements.

? Be a Quality Management System auditor (after taking the Boeing internal audit training)

? Responsible for Shanghai specific processes and document control procedures. This requires assistance in creating new processes and ensuring revisions are documented and updated. Requires assisting document owners with process revisions and assisting in Boeing's 3-year review cycle.

? Be knowledgeable about Boeing's Records and Information Management process; train new RIM representatives on the process as well as assist in RIM matrix creation. Monitor the currency of RIM representatives at the campus and current records retention terms.

? Responsible for Flight Training Instructor & Student records. This includes assisting in the creation of these records to include quality checks, storage, and shipping as required.

? Have a working knowledge of Quality System Tools to include Management Emphasis Tracking (MET) and Quality Management Audit System (QMAS) in order to assist the campus with working quality issues and audit findings.

? Participate in corporate Quality Councils and communicate Quality requirements, audit activities, and changes to the campus. Be able to communicate Quality policy and objectives to the campus.

? Know and understand Boeing's corrective and preventive action process and be able to assist campus personnel in taking action on identified Quality issues. This includes becoming familiar with Boeing's root cause /corrective action process.

? Monitor corrective and preventive actions that have been assigned to the campus and ensure estimated completion dates are being met.

? Know and understand the Student Satisfaction Survey process and feedback. Assist the campus in taking action on any items identified in these surveys.

? Act as the campus point of contact for external and internal audits of the Quality Management system.

? No scheduling responsibilities except for minimal on-site assistance


OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Campus Operations:

? Work in coordination/collaboration with Campus departments on a daily basis including

Simulator Operations supporting stores/TOMS reconciliation & re-organization, NAA report preparation, DR meeting minutes, shipping administration etc.,

? Complete Monthly CSR report.

? Complete monthly simulator metrics reports.

? Part of the support team to cover Reception when required for breaks, holidays etc.,

? Support of Health and Safety requirements for the operation

General Administration:

? Performs data compilation- monthly reconciliation of ATMS v TOMS, printing reports, schedules & logs to support both Finance requirements, CSR as well as customer audits analysis

? Update Flight Crew Operating Manuals in a timely manner

? Provide back up for LMS administration to Flight department FTSA

? Support for appropriate parts of the Business Support Manager Role

IPSS

? Manage the Shanghai part of the introduction by liaising with Pat Curtin and the group building the system. Become the expert on the subject and teach those on the campus required to use the system.

? Adapt Flight training records to the IPSS system (if and when this function becomes active).

? Professional/Technical Expertise: -Demonstrates technical and functional skills, including MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook. Maintains knowledge of aviation industry development and requirements specified by regulatory agencies.

? Communication: - Manages effective flow of information; excels at using appropriate style, grammar and tone in both written and verbal communications. Contributes to meeting and group settings; interacts effectively with multiple levels of personnel. Good written and spoken English skills. Some translation might be required.

? Customer Focus:· - Demonstrates a sense of urgency and exhibits professional, courteous behavior when working with internal and external customers.

? Organization and Accomplishment: -Highly organized, with strong attention to detail; works independently and handles multiple, complex projects simultaneously, efficiently, and cost effectively.

? Collaboration: - Works together with others by incorporating ideas, suggestions and advice while respecting others' viewpoints, opinions, backgrounds and styles.


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

? Can demonstrate previous experience of providing a professional service at all times. Ability to work unsupervised but also be a team player and sees opportunities to exceed expectations of internal and external customers.

? Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in house systems.

? Aviation regulatory or equivalent training and work experience preferred.

? 3 years of record keeping experience preferred.
