Quality Controller (Production Offices)

Role definition

The Quality controller is responsible for securing the production quality in cooperation with the factories according to STOCKMANN group requirements.

Reporting to

QC manager

Responsibilities

· Prepare inspection itinerary upon receipt of inspection schedule from QC manager;

· Double confirm with supplier/ factories on the updated availability of inspections;

· Launch PP meeting in factory before starting production, based on AQL, and issue formal digital inspection reports;

· Make inline and final inspection according to STOCKMANN group’ requirements;

· Involve in factory production process in order to secure the quality and delivery precision of STOCKMANN group’ orders.

· Train/ coach new factories.

· Inspect and evaluate new factories/production units. (Quality, technical and occasionally CoC on Country Managers request.)

· Inform Merchandiser about production process.

· Technical support to factories.

· Keep monthly records for past inspections results.

· Report to CoC team and Country Manager when suspect a violation.

· Develop the role and its tools.

Qualifications

- Education: senior high school or higher

- Working experience: 3-5 years within the trade

- Rich fabric control experience is preferred

- Good Qualification in the soft line production handling.

- Good understanding of AQL system.

- Good personality with high intergrity.

- Language skills: English in speech and writing

- Computer skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft and OUTLOOK etc.

- Good communication skills.
