Advanced Specialist Security Delegate in Project

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Support programmers and project leaders to make sure that IT risk and security management is implemented compliant and completely

- Ensure complete handling of IT risks (determine activities and measures, responsibility for the implementation of measures within time targets)

- Supervise the implementation of measures from the security concept and in time escalation according to defined procedures in the event of impending IT risks

Key Responsibilities

- Implement the assessment of protection requirements in order to evaluate critical objects to be protected (together with business partners)

- Leadership for the creation of the security concept for programmers and project. Make sure that it is presented and released by assessors

- Continuous proof of critical objects and look for new vulnerabilities

- Assure the hand-over of remaining risks to the operation and document the risks in the service level agreement (SLA) or similar agreements

- Implement audits/assessments of security functions within the acceptance for production

- Ensure regular reporting (e.g. to steering committee) and punctual announcement of IT risks in accordance with defined procedures

- Actively position IT risk and security regulations and improvements and communicating them actively (e.g. regulations of the BMW Group: risk management and security; IT Security rules; operating agreements)

Qualifications

- Degree level or equivalent experience in computer science or a business systems-related subject

- Technical Skills: project management, business analysis, numerical demonstration skills, organizational skill

- Knowledge of the fundamental methods and procedures of IT Risk and Security Management

- Competence to assess the importance security regulations and to assess IT risks.

- Microsoft Office systems competency

- ITPM/ITIL/ISO methodology

- Proficient English, German would be an advantage

- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, accurate and attractive presentation of data

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people

- Flexible to working hours and practices

- Able to travel abroad on infrequent basis

- experience in business development and management, using structured methods,4-6 years

- In addition, two years experience in manufacturing environment and at least two years practical experience with relevant IT business knowledge,1-3 years
