Senior PSP (Process Specialist Production)

Tasks

- The process specialist production implement and enables optimization processes in the technology in existing production systems and support the VPS structured production in his area of responsibility (process area)

- In charge of VPS methods, moderation and leading of process and value stream analyses

Key Responsibilities

- "Identification of possible improvements in regards of cost, ergonomics, cycle time in the area of responsibility

- Initiate necessary measurement with the responsible internal/external partners, working out, arrange and monitor necessary activities for the stabilization and the reliability of the production processes in his area of responsibility

- Steering of optimization needs, prepare specifications / drafts for the decision making process

- Give approval to planning (shell 3) for changes in the running production system, informs planning (shell3) about changes in the production system

- Support planning (shell 3) on site with integration of new project in the series production

- Prepare acquirement list (Invest/budget) for the area of responsibility to drive all necessary CIP / VPS / productivity / ratio processes

- Initiate optimization of process equipment to ensure production KPI runs weak spot analyzes and develop short and midterm measurements for improvement of stability and reliability and influence significant the productivity improvement/increase of the area of responsibility. for this he leads the CIP and Ratio measurements

- Optimization of work place design base on ergonomically and time study points of view and evaluate the result based on time study criteria.

- Ensure ergonomic, EHS and ABA-Teach evaluation after each process improvement

- Support the improvement of process and equipment standards

- Organize and coordinates VPS-activities in his area of responsibility, within teams out of PAM. team leader, quality specialist, time study specials,... and ensure the implementation of the in the team decided measurements

- If necessary he coordinates VPS activities technology overlapping along the value chain incite the plant based on entire consideration of cost, quality and ergonomic and aspire the overall (entire) optimum

- Design improvement projects, moderates improvement workshops in the production areas based on the VPS principles by using best practice methods for analysation and problems solving, drives / trace the realization and rates the results

- Consultant for department’s areas for analyzation of processes along the whole value chain of his area of responsibility

- Ensure the know how assurance and transfer inside the technology and in-between the facilities

- Implementation and optimization of value stream orientated material flows. These include planning and realization of standard part supply processes. Integration of ideal material flow concepts and line site presentation based on the VPS principles using and realize the standards

- Lessons learned out of the running production in the frame work of existing committees and processes as a base for running changes and LCI measurements as also successor projects to achieve a inter divisional optimum for cost, quality, production technology and ergonomic into the PEP

- Monitor and enclure stable process, stable dimension status and geometrical quality in the area of responsibility and develop necessary adjustment to achieve a tension free body building

Qualifications

- Bachelor / master degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering

- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience;

- VPS-principles and methods and Integrator training

- VPS methods and tools process

- Subject-specific extra qualification such as for example profound experience and training in industrial engineering

- MTM-Training and BMW training of "Standard data" and time study

- English, spoken and written; German is in advance

- Production and material flow concepts

- knowledge of production process flow, logistic process flow and BIW overall processes

- Experience of maintenance work in industrial manufacture

- Experience in value stream production systems

- Experience in mechanical and/or electrical industrial atomization
