Advanced Specialist Launch and Change

Employment – full time

Tasks

Responsibility for the coordination of all parts and process changes within all technologies, including launch changes and running changes during model year. Issuing technical directives to the process planers of the technologies

Key Responsibility

- NRCL process and handling

- BOM Hierarchy/ Parts Dispo Code maintenance in the plant

- LCS (Launch Control) process in AG legacy system and SAP, coordination on all technical correspondence and follow-up the implementation of technical and process changes according to the right introduction date

- EMCC (Change Control) processes in AG legacy system and SAP, coordination on all technical correspondence and follow-up the implementation of technical and process changes according to the right introduction date

- Regular change coordination meeting for technical change follow-up, “Line-trial test” for the plant release

- Central consignee for all technical change problems, issuing inquiries to BMW AG and answering inquiries about change from BMW AG and BMW Brilliance Automotive related technologies

- Responsible for coordination on specific processes in the plant about change management, such as (de-) localization, reintroduction of old parts, internal deviations, etc.

- SAP operation for launch and change control functions

Qualification

- Bachelor/ master degree in mechanical or automotive engineering with very good theoretical background or qualification acquired in a similar position

- Knowledge of - Project management

- Knowledge of Quality Methods

- Ability to take leading function during the problem finding and solving

- Ability to integrate in a team and to proxy for others

- Ability to work independently and take on personal responsibility

- Knows all processes of vehicle production

- Master in Microsoft office and SAP is of advantage for operation daily

- Proficient English, - German is of advantage for BMW AG systems interpretations

- Ability/experience in working with an intercultural work environment

- Quality consciousness

- Taking responsibilities, self-responsible

- Handcraft skills, self-initiative, improvisation skills

- Excellent communication skill

- Highly developed perceptive faculties to assimilate technical issues

- Open-mindedness in dealing with others

- Understand complex coherences

- Logical thinking, communication with persons who have different working styles, and project management. German speaking and reading is preferred

- Background in - 3+ years of working in an automotive plant preferably in control areas or project management functions, or similar business with supervising responsibility, 4-6 years

- Preferably working experience in international operating companies, 1-3 years
