Title: Sourcing Manager

Dept.: Sourcing Department

Responsibilities (fundamental job duties):

- Manage product categories as assigned.

- Execution of sourcing strategies within control of budget, timelines and resource plans to ensure consistent and high quality value delivery.

- Follow company procedures to ensure the execution of sourcing activities to support key business objectives.

- Ensure the execution of company policies and procedures to efficiently manage suppliers and prices.

- Implement the best practices in product sourcing and supplier qualification process to support commercial and operational objectives.

- Conduct projects review meetings to assess risks in qualifying products, suppliers, technical specification, artwork development, production capacity, regulatory clearance and timely delivery.

- Identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities continually to drive performance and business results.

- Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Degree holder;

2. 10+ years of experience in sourcing function preferably in pharmaceuticals and/or fine chemicals field(s);

3. Profound technical knowledge on pharmaceutical and/or fine chemical products;

4. Ability to forge relationships both internally within company and externally with suppliers;

5. Result driving, team-player & Can-Do attitude;

6. Strategic thinker with analytical acumen;

7. Proven strong negotiator;

8. Ability to manage varied and demanding workload across multiple businesses and time zones;

9. Excellent oral and written communication skill in both English and Mandarin is essential;

10.Proficiency with ERP.
