Purpose of the job

Production planner:
Day wise production and maintenance planning based on availability of equipment and Raw material and ensure maximum uptime for production.

Plant performance Engineer:
Purpose of the job is to evaluate the scope of improvement based on the available information from OPN, AU . quality and SHE reports. Evaluation and implementation of identified improvement proposal.
Operation Excellence : Ensure compliance to all DSP processes.

Job Content: Key area for accountability / responsibility

Responsible for:
? Yearly , monthly , weekly and daily production planning in alignment with raw material availability , maintenance / CIP schedule of equipment’s.
? Participate in risk studies on SHE and quality.
? Gatekeeping and evaluation of Improve plant proposals.
? Put up improvement plan for performance killers, cost drivers and Quality /SHE issue in organization.
? Implementation of short interval control philosophy at site.
? Operations excellence implementation at site.
? Required meeting structure in place with TOR, KPI and AD logs.
? Compliance of DSP trackers of all processes.
? Responsible for preparation of KPI tree.
? Implementation of right and effective training structure at site.
? Prioritization of improvement proposals depending upon urgency and resources.
? Monitoring of organization performance with respect to efficiency , operational excellence and people.
? Prepare and communicate organization performance reports to all concerned .
? Preparation of manufacturing plan.
? Helps site to prepare budget.

Accountable for:
? Compliance to agreed plan.
? To meet improvement targets as described in ASR / manufacturing plan.
? SHE , cGMP and legal compliance of all improvement proposals.
? Compliance of MOC procedure.
? Compliance to compliance trackers of DSP.

Authorized for:
? Prioritization of proposals.
? Stop any act which is not in line with DSP guidelines.
Excess of all operation related data

Knowledge and educational level
Process understanding
Technical competency & knowledge about plant hardware & unit operation.
DSP guidelines
Computer Knowledge
Inventory control and planning
Fully aware of latest manufacting techniques ( AM, 6 Sigma etc)
Bachelors/Masters in Chemical Engineering

Required level of experiences

5~10 years of experience in pharma, chemical industry.
