Interactive Brokers (www.interactivebrokers.com) is looking to hire highly motivated and career minded individuals for call center technician positions in our Shanghai Representative Office.
Job Description
Our Trader WorkStation is a Java 2 based proprietary trading platform that allows end-users to trade from their home or office. A TAC Technician is expected to consistently provide friendly and informative technical support to Interactive Brokers' clients, to follow well-organized procedure as well as investigate new problems to assist end-users.
Responsibilities
Mainly management and focus on a wide scale of client issues which includes: Responding to inquiries, concerns and complaints via telephone, e-mail, and on-line chat to achieve a mutually satisfactory solution while complying with policies, practices and procedures.
The core competencies include:
· Thorough understanding of office and internet related applications
· Windows XP Professional Troubleshooting
· Windows Vista Troubleshooting
· Windows XP Home Troubleshooting
· Windows 2000 Professional Troubleshooting
· DNS, TCP/IP and Application Support
· Hands-on PC Troubleshooting
· Exposure To Linux or Mac a plus
Requirements:
· Minimum of 1 year Call Center or Phone Support experience in the financial services industry.
· Strong Technical Troubleshooting Skills
· Excellent oral & written language skills in English/Mandarin.
· Strong people skills
· Bachelors Degree (IT fields preferable)
· Will also consider technical certifications- A+ Certification, etc.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate in-depth understanding of troubleshooting problems with a Windows machine during the interview.
