职位描述
1.Help push cinemas to give us as many shows as possible throughout a film's run. This has become the most important task in distribution today as it is all about number of shows that we get. There are a lot more movies and we need to have an edge over our competitor. Even as small as a 5% increase in the number of shows in second and third week holdovers will make a significant difference to our bottom-line that the cost of hiring this extra head will pale in comparison.
2.Help push cinemas to display our in-theatre materials in time for our release and to make sure that they are displayed at the most prominent locations within their cinemas.
3.Educate exhibitors on our upcoming films and convey marketing ideas from the marketing team in Shanghai
4.Be our eyes and ears in exhibition to track trends and also relay and feedback they receive from the trade so that we can learn and response directly and promptly.
The need to secure a healthy number of screen and shows is also becoming the most critical factor to a film's eventual success at the box-office. We’ve hired an assistant manager who mainly focuses on the key markets of Shanghai and the neighboring provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang initially. She really did a good job so far and enhanced our direct relationship with local key exhibitors in those markets and brought in the increase of screen & shows for our key releases this year from OZ to MU. So currently we want to replicate this success model to hire another assistant manager of Trade relations who will be located in Guangzhou and oversee this biggest and most important film markets in China for us with the responsibilities as written above. And this person will also take care of other neighboring provinces of Guangxi,Hunan and Hubei.
