职位描述

Market and Business data and Segmentation:


· Understand & document general market conditions (geographics, socio-economics, transport market, OEM information/ vehicle market) and their impact on the tire market.
· By country, research the tire market (customers & their needs, competitors, channels/distribution models, price levels & structure, price-performance matrix of products & services, main sizes, mix etc.) and describe market dynamics (projections & trends, influencing factors for change, growing segments etc.)
· By customer segment, identify & document market opportunities (main competitors, size of customer segments, segment growth rates, size trend projections, customer split, fleet sales opportunities etc.)
· Understand relative brand positioning to support brand management
· Set up structure and process to keep them relevant and up-to-date




Scenario Planning:


· Establish Market scenarios (with understandable and rationalized framework) to give business and strategy development impulse, recommendations
·the Scenarios can be on macrolevel, industry level, brand segment level, customer segment level etc.




Business Development:


· Establish analytic methodologies or tools to support management having transperancy and projections about the market and industry environment and trends
· Develop business cases/plans on basis of market opportunities (calculate & simulate growth opportunities on basis of defined business planning assumptions and required resources and investments) and get these business cases aligned with parties involved
· Support Markets/countries to access and capture market opportunities in all regards of product/market/brand segments




Strategic Planning and coordination:


·as key driver of "yearly rolling planning process", providing key market datas to ensure solid and effective strategic planning
·provide guidance and support to local market/marketing management to formulate the stratgies
· at regular strategic review process provide insights and recommendations to support APAC and local management to implement the strategies and adjust the courses if necessary




Regional growth project management:


· Nagivating through the markets and channels to identifying growth initiatives across the APAC, making management recommendatons, planning and prioritizing these initiatives, support the implementation w/ market organizations
· Managing the projects cross-functionally across the countries in the manner of project management if required




Process/People :


· Result- and process-oriented approach in managing his/her own tasks and in coordination with markets/countries
· Achieve efficiency through skilled project management
· Create "buy-in" from markets/countries through competence, 2-way communications and workshops, being credible to deliverables
· Professional co-operation with external agency through clear briefing and tracking




University degree in Marketing, Economics or Business management or engineering.at least 3 years experience in comparable positions in Consulting, Market Intelligence, Strategic planning, Strategic Sales or Business Development of a multi-national company in Asia or China or other Asien Countries. Industrial background in Tire and related industries as first Priority. Or background Automotive and/or Automotive aftermarket. Experience in working on regional level beyond a country is a plus.Strength in Analysis, Strategy formulation. Experience in cross-functional coordination and project management; Convincing communication, Good in Working out "Simple Key Points" from "Complexity and Gaps".Reverse Thinking, Co-operative approach with standing with Co-Workers, Integrating different perspectives from different funtions.Perfect English and Chinese, other Asian language will be a plus. International working experience is a plus.
