1. Responsible for defining planning and forecasting strategies for each BU in partnership with the BU commercial team and is a key participant in developing processes and procedures across the function.
2. Assist in facilitating the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning Process for assigned product lines; assists in the Demand Planning product forecasting process and strategy for assigned product lines
3. Generates and evaluates monthly Demand Solutions forecast for each BU in China
4. Organizes, facilitates, and provides monthly demand analysis/reports of significant changes for the S&OP meetings, both at the working level and the executive level
5. Provides assistance in the creation of the monthly supply plan by generating demand reports for each BU; validate performance versus the Demand Plan
6. Gathers feedback from the Material Planning team on significant abnormalities, discontinuations, etc to build into the overall Demand Plan
7. Manages data accuracy and data integrity, including master data for planning and PFEP of assigned skus
8. Develop operating mechanisms to communicate and monitor orders, sales, forecast, OTD, ITO, SLOB and S&OP performance
9. Assists in product Life Cycle management process, including analysis of performance and facilitating life cycle and business operating model (Make to Order vs Make to Stock) change management
10. Assist in global production allocation and prioritization initiatives
11. Team management and create a cooperative culture within and out of the team;
12. Drives process development and optimization through Lead toolsMay be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned

Education background/Qualifications:
University / bachelor degree
APICS certification is preferred.


Working experience:
At least 10 years’ experience in supply chain field. More than 3 years supervisor or manager experience and the managed team members should be greater than 2.
Used to work in a matrix organization
Experience in auto factory is preferred.

Skills:
Good communication skills and team spirit.
Advanced skills in excel, access and ERP experience such as Oracle, SAP etc.
Good oral and writing English skills.
Lean background
Requires the ability to quickly respond to changing needs by reallocating and/or managing resources according. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position; errors in work could result in significant production delays, insufficient or overstocked inventory levels, additional costs, and dissatisfied customers.
